"Children of The House Of Loveness working on their gratitudes," 2013

“Children of The House Of Loveness working on their gratitudes,” 2013

I am grateful for my friend, Betsy Blankenbaker, for bringing The Gratitude House “I am grateful for…” postcards in her suitcase to Zimbabwe.  With this gesture, my dream to go international has been realized!  Betsy started The House of Loveness five years ago.  She supports orphaned and abandoned children and has started a school for them.  Betsy reported, “the children had much fun working on their gratitudes and once they started they wanted to do more.”  Last week she held a Thanksgiving retreat and on Thanksgiving day the participants also filled out postcards that are now installed in the school along with donor’s names from a recent fundraising effort.
