“Materials Table and Gratitude Journal Being Embellished,” Maple Street School, Brooklyn, NY 2014

This week I was invited to Teacher Inspiration Day at Maple Street School in Brooklyn, NY.  The director, Wendy Cole, has been a long time supporter of The Gratitude House.  After the teachers and I shared our gratitudes on the rug we moved to the tables through out the ground floor of the school to embellish gratitude journals.  I loved seeing the teachers work so intently and happily in the setting that is usually occupied by the pre-schoolers.  Each one of their journals was transformed and I could sense their excitement.  I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with educators and know it will have a huge ripple effect.
